My hubby makes approx. $8,000 a month, (gets paid every 2 weeks)
ALL outr bills are less than $2,000 every month...
I get $5 here and there, but thats it....
Where is this money going?
We have no furniture, never buy new clothes, (at least not for me or our baby), and we NEVER go out to eat together or anything like that.

First of all, he has no financial goals. Financial goals are necessary to plan for the future, to buy a home or invest. Second, he either has a gambling addiction or drug addiction. With an income like that, I would have money in the bank and everything I need, new car, new clothes, vacations. Take a good hard look at your situation.

Well, a huge chunk of that goes for taxes. Assuming that your hubby pays for health insurance and kicks into a retirement plan, that is another healthy chunk. My guess is that he comes home with around $4K each month.
Subtract 2k for rent and bills then subtract another couple of hundred a week in groceries. That leaves you with around $1200. Now assume you have to fill the car up with gas a couple of times a month. At today's prices that should run around $100. If hubby has one of those jobs where he "does lunch" often, that will run another couple of hundred a month. Don't forget a couple of hundred a month for unexpected home related items or car maintenance. Oh, and we can't forget Jr's college fund. Now remove another few bucks here and there for pocket money. That leaves you with pretty much diddly to put into the old savings account.
Bummer!

One of you has to be spending the money somewhere. You should never be broke with $8000 a month and bills not even half of that. Time to sit down with your hubby and find out where your money is going.

I so hope this is not true. Have a talk with your hubby.... And start by telling him to hand over the money for you to take care of yourself some too.

You might want to write a budget and find out. Probably small things here and there. How much is your mortgage and insurance? A budget will tell you. Look at your loans and the interest rate you are paying, it adds up.

sounds like drugs,achohol,or girl friend...maybe all 3.....tell him you want to learn how to do the bills so you can help ...this way u will be able to watch where the money goes with out him knowing.....something could happen and you might have to step up and take over the bills ...better u should know how it works

I'm not convinced this is a serious question but....
Did you check your bank statement for withdrawals?
If his paycheck goes in the bank then there should be a record of it coming out.

So sorry to break it to you, but maybe he's cheating on you and spending money on someone else. Yes it's cruel but I've seen it done before.
