Sure, antique dolls and crazy clowns can lend a creepy element to horror flicks, but personally, I think the Saw clown is just plain stupid.

Besides, he's just a ripoff of Pennywise (from "It") and the Poltergeist clown toy.

Clowns are naturally creepy because there is a mystery to the person behind the mask. What is it that they are hiding? After all what is hiding behind the mask could be John Wayne Gacy, the serial killer.

I love the clown in Saw. I would love to own one.

The "Saw" clown just a little creepy. And actually, I don't find the movies (1 and 2) scary. Maybe we'll find out more about the clown and the reason Jigsaw uses the clown to give the message to his victims in the third movie.

Bu in my opinion, the movies are good movies....interesting twists and and some shocks.

And as another responder mentioned, there IS something to be learned from the movies....do you appreciate life? Or do you only learn to appreciate it until you almost lose the life you had?

Talking Tina from the Twilight Zone is scarier than the Saw clown.

However, Pennywise and the Poltergeist clown are still scary.
