I went back to school for a new career, got great grades, and a great job. Unfortunately, I wasn't as good at the job, as I was at school. In less than 6 months I have been forced to resign. I've called up a few staffing agencies who said they need at least one year of on the job experience, and none of my contacts are hiring.

I have this nagging feeling that I might not be cut out to work in the medical field, but don't know who will hired someone whose about to switch careers for the 2nd time in 4 years. At the same time I've never been fired before and doubt i can get another job in my current field locally, especiallysince it was my mistakes that lead to my situation.

I'm thinking of trying to get into sales, but is this just a panicky career move? help!

I'm a firm believer that when one door closes, another is opened! Don't be too hard on yourself, being fired is not the end of the world. If your field of study was in the medical profession, and you really like it, then don't give up!

You are not good at that job maybe because you need to spend more time to familiarize yourself in the medical field. Moving into another career after the other is not a wise decision. How can you be good at one field if you don't focus?
Be focus and be patient, time will come that you will find a job that suits you..

You don't say what you do in the medical field, but if it fits, you might be able to go to work for a medical supply company or a health insurance company as they need people with medical training to do some of the jobs.
