Many things dear Lola. Sketching and writing really centers me. Reading does. or dooing anything creative gets me very centered.
Mostly though, I find that following the breath re-centers me like nothing else. and it's good to do anywhere. Whether it's outside circumstances or just my monkey mind going crazy for no reason(as it does sometimes), just watching the breath always--without fail--brings me back; gets me centered.
And this can be done anywhere and anytime. The body is always present, it's only the mind that goes here and there and drives me crazy and makes me lose tocuh with my center.
I owe you a long novel. Be afraid. Be very afraid! MUHAHA!

Stop thinking. Our own thoughts are guilty of taking us out of the present moment. Find a quiet place and just simply focus on the energy of your body. When a thought comes in (& it will), don't judge it - just allow it to pass by like it's floating down a little creek. That's how I do it =)

Exercise and focus on the good in my life & what steps I have taken towards my goals. No matter what happens it too shall pass. The endorphins from exercise definitely bring your up because they are your bodies natural happiness hormone. & realigning your mental outlook will bring you more in balance with what is most important. Then you can focus on the positive and your goals.
