Nature does not think. Thus, it cannot favour anything.
If nature COULD think, it's not likely that it would think much about numbers, since numbers were invented by man, not nature. We can use numbers to describe things in nature, but there are no numbers that are intrinsically there.
Even if nature did think and thought about numbers, there's no reason to assume it would think about odd or even ones particularly. What is so special about being divisible by two? Perhaps it would be more concerned with being divisible by three, or forty-seven, or 1.1618033989 (the 'golden ratio').
If nature did think about numbers and was particularly concerned about the nature of oddness versus evenness, then I would suggest the only way we might be able to tell would be to see what there is the most of. And since 99.999999% of everything is empty space, or nothing, which would be zero, I'm going to side with nature favouring even numbers. But that's just a guess.

I think even, but only in the sense that nature eons ago "invented" sexual reproduction as the most effective way of guaranteeing diversity among her offspring. In other words, "It takes 2 to tango." Once sex came into existence all organisms came to possess sets of paired chromosomes, one donated by the female (mother) and one by the male (father). Henceforth all reproduction, whether of the organism (involving meiosis) or of the individual cell (involving mitosis), would involve the even number 2. Pity the poor asexual amoeba condemned forever to be a lonely odd 1, though some would say the amoeba perhaps has the advantage of never dying since every daughter cell (barring mutation) is exactly the same as the mother and as every other daughter cell. So what would your preference be, the joy of sex or eternal life? Even or odd?

I would have to say even, because animals need two to reproduce, and plants, ect have to have male/female pollen to bear fruit...Just a theory.
