You can reach level 2 in yahoo answers by answering a lot of questions and trying to give good advice and answers.

you must have two yahoo ids, the first is only for answering and the second is only for asking, and if you had them, then answer your own questions by the second yahoo id, then choose yourself as the best answer by the first id which you had asked the question, and then you will get 10 points, but you have to answer and ask at the same time, you will reach level 2 quickly.

Choose the questions you answer wisely. Look for questions in categories where you have expertise and then respond to the questions where you have strong feelings about the question, or enjoy the question. That way, you'll write a better answer and your answer will have a better chance of being chosen as the best answer. Make sure you're fully answering the question, since you get your points sooner if the person asking chooses your answer than if the rest of the voters choose it. You get 100 points for joining the community, and a point a day for checking in, so if you write one best answer a day, you'll be to level 2 in less than two weeks. You have to reach 250 points and go on every day. That's how I got to Level 5 fast. And by the end of this week, I'll be up to Level 6! (Yay! ^_^)!

Y ou just gotta keep answering questions, and trying to give some good advice to get the 10 points. You get 2 points for every question you answer. Don't ask it deducts points.

Get on everyday, answer as many questions as you can, and answer them well with the intent to get chosen as the best answer. Don't be afraid to ask questions either.
