how do I replace a window with a wall?

You take out the window, infill the studs, insulate, install drywall on the interior and match the exterior materials, paint and you are done....

A quick and dirty way is to remove the pane and glass and put up bricks...gives it that cool "abandoned, ready for demolition" look.

if you can't find same brick , try fake plastic shutters over wood or brick any color & then paint...

i've seen situation where the window was painted & covered outside only ( patio shelf)
