It will be another 7 to l0 weeks. The baby may just be carrying low and it does feel different and you do get more pressure than with other pregnancies. The reason he hasn't done another pelvic exam is because he is following the normal guideline for pregnancy checks (36 weeks). If you begin feeling tons of pressure, bleeding or leaking fluid see the doctor immediately.

Well, of course you don't want to have your baby early. Delivering preterm, before 37 weeks, is dangerous. If you go into labor now and your baby delivered at 30 weeks without medical intensive care your baby would be very unlikely to survive. With intensive care your baby would survive but be on a ventilator, had IVs and need 24 hour care in a hospital. Staying pregnant is better!
You may feel more BH and you may be more uncomfortable with third baby but if you feel more than 6 contractions in an hour, or have a lot of pelvic pressure call your doctor. There are ways to sometimes prevent a preterm delivery.
Most doctor don't do another pelvic exam until 36 weeks. One at first visit and then weekly after 36 weeks.

You can go into labor anywhere from 36 weeks on, especially if your due date is off. I was due May 9 and had my due date changed to April 12 and then had my baby on April 1. You will probably have a pelvic exam with in the next 4-6 weeks. There is a pregnancy belt out now that helps support your lower stomach, you may consider getting one of those, I hear they help releive some of the pressure and heavy feeling. Good Luck!

Hopefully you will not go into labor until you are at 38 weeks. 38 to 40 weeks is term. Of course, women will go into labor earlier. Depending on how far along you are will depend on what your doctor decides to do. At 30 weeks your labor would try to be stopped as your infant would be seriously at risk for injury or death. The outcomes are better at 35 weeks, but still not the best. You say you have been having strong BH contractions? I am sure your obstetrician put you on a fetal heart/uterine activity monitor. He/she must not have seen anything of concern other wise your cervix would have been checked. At 30 weeks cervixes are not routinely checked unless indicated. The pressue on your pelvic bone, lower abdominal pressure, pain in your hips and groin, and lower back pain can all be normal discomfort of pregnancy. If you have any doubts by all means you should go see your doctor. Sometimes labor first appears as back pain and pressure and sometimes a serious urinary tract infection called "pyelonephritis" may also appear as back pain. Be sure to drink plenty of fluids, dehydration is a contributing factor to pre-term labor and urinay tract infections. Good luck.

Nobody knows how long you will go. the term pregnacy is 40 weeks. As long as there are no complications you can safley deliver at 38 weeks. The best way to have a baby is patience the kid won't come until it is ready.
