If a man who considers himself straight slips up just once and has sex with a guy, everyone can't wait to label him gay, but if a guy who considers himself gay and has sex with a female (and I know alot of 'gay' guys who have done this even AFTER they have come out) then he is still considered gay. Is it just me or is this a double standard? I think any guy or girl who has had sex with people of the same and opposite sex would be considered bisexual. That only seems logical. It also seems like it's so easy for society to label women as bi but not men. I think this is because men rule the media and they find women who are bisexual to be a fantasy and we all know men's fantasies are all that matters...... I also think alot of women lie about being bisexual just to get more attention from men. Sad, isn't it?

Also I've hear a lot of gay guys (and a few lesbians) say that bisexuals don't exist. I think that is very critical of them considering that they do not like it when people tell them that there is not such thing as homosexuality.

I agree with you totally. Men and women that are attracted to both sexes are bisexual. It does exist,. I know many women who are attracted to both men and women and it doesn't matter either way as long as they are attracted to them and have feelings for them. If a women is lies about being bisexual to attract men thats just weird because they are claiming to be something they are not which makes no sense if they are looking for a relationship. I would think any man who is attracted to a women based on the fact that the think they are bisexual is probably someone who is pretty messed up in the head. It's just a preforance and nothing else. It's also true that men who are gay or bisexual have a harder time being honest about it today because of the stereotypes of men. Most women have those stereotypes for men also though and it is hard for most women to picture the man they are with as being interested in men also, it really takes a strong women not to care. Even for me it is hard to look at a man who I know is gay or has had sexual relations with men in any way and feel attracted to them. That is terrible I know, because I don't have a problem with women being lesbian or bisexual. I guess it all depends on how you think things through

I think it's a tricky question... although, as a gay male, I have slept with with women post-coming out... we're referred to as queers, gay men who occasionally sleep with women... straight men who occasionally sleep with men ARE bisexuals... there is just a slight difference... but all in all, yes bisexuality exists, it's just a matter of personal definition.. and yes, I do think a lot of women use the bisexual card for attention and sex appeal... it is kind of sad.

Slips up and has sex with a man? No, sorry...I've never heard of that. kissing a guy when drunk. I've seen a few straight guys do that...but getting drunk and having sex...honey that takes effort. But the gay men i know if they have had sex with women generally think of it as a gross experience they never wish to duplicate. That being said, i have a few straight friends who admit even they would bang brad pitt. and plenty of straight girlfriends who say they would bang angelina jolie.

you have a lot of i thinks in there what are u trying to get at . i am bi but i don't want to be labeled . i don't care what people say gay lesbian straight. what ever . i am who i am . and if i feel like a sausage so be it if i feel like a bun good luck to me. but don't label me and don't label lots of people out there. also if a man sleeps with a another man once or a woman sleeps with another woman one. (or even twice) to me that is experimenting . if its what they choose then to do again and again and again. then they are considered gay /lesbian. bi is the catch of the day

I don't believe in bisexuality as a normal tendency. I think bisexuality occurs because homosexuals are trying to be straight and because some people are so desperate for attention that they will take it any way they can get it. I don't mean to hurt anyones feelings--May God bless you all.

Human sexuality is complex, far more complex than our ability to describe it. Any person can have sexual relations with any other person if given the right situation. Anything you can imagine, believe me, there's a person out there who's either doing it or gets off thinking about it.
Everyone should be able to discover who they are and enjoy that.

Have to agree 100%. Though because I'm a man I do find bisexual women very hot. Sorry - can't control that lower brain very well at all. ;)

I think that homosexuality is a sexual preference (from birth). Bisexual is all about the sex, its going for the best sex no matter where it comes from, male or female.

Yes it is a double standard. Yes, it is sad.
The whole sex thing is sad. Sexual intercourse was created by God and intended for the reproducing of humans. When you take something and distort it from its natural use and what it is made for then that is when confusion comes in. And who is the author of confusion????
