My boss seems to angry about everything that I do. I just started here and it makes me really nervis. I don't want to loose my job but I don't know what to do. I pay attention and do what I'm told, but he gets mad when I don't finish what someone else starts. My manager sent a fax while I was at lunch, that didn't go through. He dropped it on my desk, and said "I'm pretty sure this didn't go through" then went over to my manager and started whispering. I'll I heard was, "If I'm not paying attention, who is". What should I do.

if thats tha case, then you should be more alert and attentive at all times. do your work better. show your boss that your doing your job the best as you can. keep busy when he is around. be wise and smart when it comes to office works. dont be caught doing nothing instead complete all works. that way praises will be said. Now, even after doing a good job, you still get sermon. Then there's something wrong with him. maybe jelousy or just plain rude. get a new job with a nice boss.

You must have replaced someone else. Sounds like they are jealous, or just trying to intimidate you. Stand your ground. If you know you can do the job well, you have nothing to be sorry for. Just make sure you are on top of everything and that everything goes smoothly. Eventually they will catch on that you are ok.

Just don't react to it. Keep doing your job. He can only make you nervous if you let him.

From what you've said, he sounds a little irrational. Your new coworkers are probably already aware of his weirdness. Hang in there.

i think you should stick it out for as long as you can. but if you want to.. you should ask the boss what you can do to improve. he MIGHT like that and take it into consideration. no promises though. but good luck and if you want E-Mail me at gwanstagirl@yahoo.com and put subject as something like thanks for help with boss or something. your choice.
bye

keep your head up, keep doing what you're doing , and if it gets that bad talk to your boss, or someone over him.
