I had a daugther a little while ago, and am just getting back into the world. I didn't realize it until about 5 minutes ago that the deadline to register to vote was Oct 9. I know that in a lot of places you can still register. How do you do this? I am in Arkansas, if that makes a difference.

It really does vary state to state. Here in Ohio its a month before the election. Some states let you register right before you vote. Call whom ever is in charge of voting and ask. It never hurts to ask

It does. Google your county/city plus "elections commission" and it should give you the main page with all the information. Or you could always call the elections board or your city hall, they'll give you the info. Make sure you do it ASAP!!!
