its obvious that the red sox need some off season moves, but who is going to be on the market that would be good for them

They have to go for pitching. A closer now since Papelbon is in the starting line up.

They need someone at left field too, Trot Nixon will not come back.

Zito, Lugo, and find a closer via trade since there aren't very many available. They also have some middle relief problems but I have a feeling with getting some starters you can move some of the starters around to the middle.

Carlos Lee is a free agent and would be protection for Big Papi if they decide to trade Manny for a front line pitcher.

Maybe Gary Sheffield,the yankees are not going to sign him again. He's a trouble maker and cry baby,He'll fit right in with Boston.

They need more hitters. this past season they were in such a slump, had trouble scoring runs, etc
