The info is all there! Determine the slopes and you will know!

Recall that in the form y = mx + b, that m is the slope. You have that already with your two equations --- the first is m=1 and the second is m=-1

Parallel lines have the same slope

Perpendicular lines have slopes that, when multiplied together, yield -1

you have m=1 * m=-1 .... 1 * -1 = -1

therefore your lines are perpendicular

They're perpendicular.
there's an imaginary 1 in front of X, so the first slope is 1, the second slope is -1, so the slopes are opposites, which makes them perpendicular.
