Very disturbing film. The abuse the patients suffered at the hands of the hospital staff, instigated by Nurse Ratched were horrible. A very intense movie experience. Very well made film with an excellent cast. Jack Nicholson and Louise Fletcher earned very well deserved Oscars for their acting. The movie itself won for best picture.

It was an ok movie, the end was what people mostly think of in the movie because (even through everyone knew about it) it showed something that was disturbing to many that that really happened.

I like other mental films better, but for the time it was good to show people something we did not want to see!

FYI: if you read the book, just turn to the last page, it waits until the last min. to kill him off!

One film that is almost better than the book. And the reason for that is a great cast, not only Jack Nicholson, the whole cast. It is a very good movie, one you can watch over and over and get something different from it each time.

What a great film, it does leave you in a wierd happy/sad state, it explores really important issues but isn't pretentious at all. A brilliant film, and yes, I did cry!

One of the great films ever made. The Chief thought he was institutionalized and could never make it outside the hospital. McMurphy convinced him otherwise. The end was their only way to escape. Great flick.

Fantastic film, appalling stage show with Christian Slater (didn't get the tensionm or antagonism at all), I've got the book but haven't read it yet.
