it is probably staph, can be treated and you can continue breast feeding, see a doctor though, good luck

Nothing . just chill out. Breast abscess in the women with small children is usually due to the cracks in the nipples that develop after feeding the baby. Infection spreads in from these cracks and produces abscess. Try to keep your breast dry after every feed. Apply warm water, vaseline; but not spirit or any other antiseptic solution.

Has the doctor diagnosed this or do you think you have an abscess? If not, you REALLY need to see your doctor so they can determine what it is.
