maybe its time for a computer to be the new manager, face it, a 1985 atari could do a better job than any of the idiots we have had for far to long, and it doesnt want millions a year.
As for McLaren's appointment, why?....what has he ever done as a manager, won the carling cup once, lol, and he was number 2 behind the swedish idiot......with MacLaren we will win squat....any team with MacLaren will always win squat...he is no good!!!

It's a bit soon to write Steve McLaren off isn't it? Yes, Croatia was a calamity but he has enough humility to admit he was wrong. Let's give him a bit longer before the lynching begins shall we? After all, we gave Sven enough time to prove what a loser he was.
The FA should have chosen Martin O'Neill in the first place but as for future England managers, Alex Ferguson would be pretty good and Arsene Wenger (but that's strictly hypothetical - I'm a gooner and you are not having him, EVER!)

i'm conversing as a non-supporter for Englang, in different words i do no longer help them, and that's carefully purpose. Nay, Capello has performed a great deal as real Madrid coach. Redknapp could have led Tottenham to the CL 4th spot yet Capello is acquainted together with his 23-guy squad properly and Redknapp isn't acquainted with the squad. ok, right here is the deal: If Capello manages to realize the semi-finals interior the international Cup, we shop him. If he does not, then we hearth him. Harry Redknapp or Roy Hodgson to overhaul.

There is only one person good enough for the job. ME!!! 3-5-2 Robinson, G neville, Terry, Ferdinand, Richardson, lampard, Hargreaves, Gerrard, Lennon or W Phillips(injuries) Johnson and Rooney. Easily qualify for Euro championships

Much as I love him, I don't think Sam will ever manage England - he annoys the FA with with big Northern ways and plain speaking, and he's got all this bung thing hanging over him - even if he's cleared there'll still be a lingering smell over it all.

Martin O'Neill. Just look what he has achieved since coaching Aston Villa who really have no big name players. England need a manager who is full of passion like O'Neill instead of someone who seems to do nothing but write things in his little book. It certainly has nothing to do with football he is writing about. Perhaps he is counting his players.

i wouldn't sack maclaren just yet. you've got to give him a chance. he was the brilliant accroding to everyone after his first 2 games.
your right though we shouldn't chose him in the first place, he never had a good record anyway! martin o neil would be my choice

I agree he was part of the problem last time around.
We needs someone that understands what it means to be able to play for your country for me Stu Pearce from Man City has the right outlook but he needs a break at the moment
