Batista? What a joke!! He cant even put on a decent WWE match. Dont get me started about his chances in UFC!!
(for Callum and anyone else that thinks Batista is legit!!)

Brock Lesnar has been credited to being a very good wrestler and has won championships. Wrestling plays an important role in MMA but can he punch? Can he kick? To examine this further, can he do advanced submissions better than the simple stuff?

I dont think Brock will do to bad considering his background. I certainly wouldnt say he'd get killed. Afterall, many wrestlers turn to MMA and have a very good career from it.

For example, Dan Severn, Randy Couture, Kevin Jackson are examples. If Brock puts his mind towards it and covers some legit conditioning I think he will do okay.

In the WWE, Sylvester Turkay (sp?) would do okay also.

I do also say the same for Kurt Angle but he must be pushing 40 now. I also dont think his skills are as good compared to his 1996 olympic days. I could be wrong with Kurt because I do believe he can still toy with many younger hopefuls today. However, wouldnt it be good if the UFC made this match ---- Brock Lesnar Vs Kurt Angle.

At the end of the day, there are only a few guys that would do well in MMA that are in the WWE. 95% would be killed!!!

Matt Hardy would die,
Booker T would die,
last but not least, John Cena would die.

know the difference between work and shoot. Most WWE people are performers.... a WORK. Only some can shoot for real, and most are in Japan (or trained in Japan).

Someone mentions about Eric Bishoff. Yes he is a kick-boxer but you still need to know how to grapple and everything else. For a decent wrestler, it wont be hard to take Bishoff down to the ground. Once on the ground, Bishoff will be clueless.

Dont get me wrong as I dont disrespect Pro Wrestlers in the WWE. The job is hard and you do get bumps and bruises. I dont think people realise how much wrestlers bodies get screwed doing WWE stuff. However, facing facts.... they not real, legit fighters!!!

All the best!!

Yes, the wrestlers apply their moves on each other in a way that is safe or "fake" for all the shallow minded individuals out there. But the truth of the matter is there are two ways to apply the moves and holds, the safe way and the not so safe way. With the arm bar you can litterally break someones arm in a matter of moments if you really wanted to. Although I don't recall the exact hold, Hulk Hogan got his leg broke in like the first 30 seconds of his first wrestling training session because the guy training him wanted to show him that it's not all fun and games and to see if he was really cut out for the job. I think that if you put one of the good wrestlers (I'm not talking about the worthless s**t like Cena and Mysterio) in the so called Ultimate Fighting Championship that they would do quite well. I watched the UFC in its early days on the original 2 pay per views, and back then it was high paced action. A few weeks ago I caught a glimpse of the TV show and think it's a fluke that it just so happens to carry the same name. It was boring as h*ll. It just looked like two guys trying to make out with each other while their coaches were talking to them from the side lines. Alot of people fail to realize that just because wrestlers don't really try to kill each other in the ring that they are amazing athletes and basically put their lives on the line every time they step into the ring. As for who I think would do well in the UFC, there was a guy in WCW about 8 or 9 years ago named Jerry Flynn that I think would do quite well. And even though most people hate him, they fail to realize that Eric Bischoff is a two time kick boxing champion and I think would do pretty good in the UFC.

I think Brock will do well in the UFC. He will step in and have one of the best ground games in the Heavyweight division. If he has worked on his stand-up defense at all he could DOMINATE.

I would love to see Edge get beat down by Chuck Liddell.

I think Kurt Angle would probably be the best bet to be a consistent winner in the UFC out of all the active guys.

The only 2 wrestlers that could go into a UFC environment and not get brutally destroyed would either be Kurt Angle (former wrestler and he does understand shoot fighting) and Selvestor Turkey (who actaully has a great wrestleing background and hand to hand combat skills) Everyone else would get destroyed by the first Kick Boxing Ju-Jitsu combo artist.

Hey hope I help you, Broc lesnar is a former ncaa heavyweight freestyle wrestling champion, he had also been trained in judo he will not get killed tho i would love to see the fight im not sure when it will take place, the wrestler or grapler as they call it 8-10 times wins the fight because as soon as the fight goes to the ground they are much more trained in submission type moves. Goldberg (retired or not) would do well and he's done it before and I think Batista would hold himself well...I would love to see Chris Masters go in and get knocked the hell out by Chuck Liddell or someone, that would be fantastic lol.
