There is actually a roll of paper in the back that talleys each vote for each candidate every time the button is pushed to confirm vote. These machines are tested by election volunteer workers who do not know how to program, only verify accuracy.

I'm NOT. Nor is a "paper trail" ALONE the entire solution to stopping shamlections. NOBODY who loves the USA and the Constitution should give up this fight. Down with Dictator Dumbya!!!
