can anyone tell me how to remove and install a timing belt on a 2.3l ford mustang

first thing is take off the timing cover,then put your crank on top dead center,if your belt is broken,you will have to alighn the cam(you should have a guage hole in the cam gear,alighn the hole)put a drill bit ,or something in the guage hole to keep the cam from turning,now loosen the belt tensioner and take off the old belt and install the new 1,next tighten the tensioner,so you can flex the belt half way,now take out the bit and install the cover.sounds like its difficult,but not really.hope i did some help for you.........good luck.

Take it from a mechanic. Don't even try it. If you don't get it on correctly and time it correctly, it will bend the valves.
This is not a jobe for a person with little or no mechanical knowledge.

YOU NEED TO START BY TAKING ALL FAN BELTS OFF THE MOTOR REMOVE ANY BRACKETS THAT HOLD ACCESORIES TO FRONT OF MOTOR REMOVE HARMONIC BALANCER AND WATERPUMP PULLEYS REMOVE TIMING COVER ROTATE MOTOR BY HAND AND ALIGN TIMING MARKS LOOSEN TENSIONER REMOVE OLD BELT. REVERSE YOUR INSTALLATION ORDER AND YOUR DONE SHOULD TAKE AP[PROXIMATLY2 HOURS
