Im writing a childrens book about food and its every letter of the alphabet and i dont have one for X.

This is a food additive, not an actual food, but it sounds like a fun one for a kid's book, funny to say too.

Xanthan Gum
Additive produced by fermenting corn sugar. Used to thicken and stabilize salad dressings, sour cream, etc.

I got one for you but it's not American. It's Vietnamese and called "Xinh xao", or jello. Xinh xao is called in the South; in the North, it's Thach.
