Bush has had the power to pass anti abortion laws for 6 years, yet abortions continue to be performed legally in the US. This is yet another promise made to his religious right wing base that he has failed to address to their satisfaction. It's time that the people who voted for him realize that the same man who lied to get us behind him in this war in Iraq has also lied about every other thing he promised his voters. Since Bush represents the Republican party, it's clear that they have supported his lies all along. Wake up and smell the dead fetus people!

though this is a stab instead of a question, it still brings up a very good point. and that is this.. no party will significantly change the rules on abortion.. the reason why is because it is too split in the nation. for either party to make a change with out more support would be political suicide, therefore you will hear lots of talk, but very little action towards this issue.

The democrats are the ones wanting the illegals in here, so you are confused on that point. According to the supreme court, Abortion has been decided, so unless something else comes up, there are no plans to revisit it.
