When me and my wife ride our waverunner (jetski), I like to stand up when we ride, when she is on the back. I tell her that I get better support when standing and can penetrate the waves better.

No doubt she dislikes the butt in her face. Its not only uncomfortable but downright rude. I say if you like riding the waves buy her another waverunner. Or do the obvious and let her drive ! She will enjoy that much more. Let her stand and see how much you like it !

Hmm. Verrry interesting. But stupid!
Where I live, we read about people getting knocked of jet skis all the time. Guess how the most fatalities occur? People who are standing up. They can't grip the jet ski with their knees for added grip and Bingo!
People are attending the funeral of one more person who wanted the extra thrill. The loved ones left behind get the added thrill of wishing you good bye. Forever.
