i am astonished about how serious soccer is handled here in the english YC. i thought the english-people would laugh more about their soccer, as even the germans do!!!

everybody should laugh at your question, im assuming that you are either american or an aussie so i will put this nicely, in england infact the whole of britain call it football, american football and aussie rules is not football and do you know why cause the clue is in the name FOOTball thats right FOOTball not handball or any other daft name you can think of

No it is not a laughing matter. There was nothing remotely funny about England's perfomances against Macedonia and Croatia. England fans take their football very seriously and to some it more important than life and death. As to your last comment I did not realise the Germans laughed at anything!

When players are paid thousands a week and millions a year and they can't beat some boys from macadonia who've never seen a football in their lives (dont quote me on that), thats always worth laughing about!
(im english by the way)

best league we have in the world apparently which all our best international players play in and we cant beat croatia and maccadonia? thats worth laughing about aswel!

The British take football far too seriously, after all, it's only a game. I laugh all the time whan England play, usually with embarrasment.

I'm a Chelsea fan and i always have a bloody good laugh whenever we play Tottenham at The Bridge or at Three Point Lane.

we laugh just as much at it as we do at your footballers who wear all that padding, cross dressers every one of them.
