WRONG EVERYONE!! CELL PHONES IN ARGENTINA ARE TOUGH AS HELL!!
If you want to call a cell phone in argentina, you need to dial
+ 54 9 11 ####-####
Where:
+ is the international access
54 is the code to Argentina
9 is the code to access the Cellular Network
11 is the code for the city (in this case, Buenos Aires, change it for the one you need)
and ####-#### is the cell phone number.
Note that a cell phone from argentina would be:
155-927-5810 (for Buenos Aires)
If i wanted to call this cell from outside, i'd have to dial:
+5491159275810
taking out the 15 that goes before it.
Another example:
Local: 156-200-5157
Intl.: +5491162005157

If the cell phone is registered in Argentina, You need the country code (prefijo de país) and the area code (la clave de area). But if the cell phone is registered in YOUR country/area code.. then it shouldn't matter, just dial your area code and the number.
I've never made an international call but I THINK you have to have an operator connect you to the country.. I wouldn't bet your life savings on it... maybe someone else answers who knows a little bit more than me.

I don't know who is your long distance carrier.
you have to put
011-54 and the # you're calling
54 is the country code for Argentina
011 is the international dialing prefix, you might want to check with your long distance carrier if you need to include those.
