additive inverse is that number that when added to the original will equal ZERO (0)

mulitplicative inverse is that number that when multiplied by the original number will equal ONE (1)

The people who've said that 1/3 is the additive inverse of 2/3 are not correct.

You should look up this term "additive inverse" in your textbook, though, to determine what it means so you can really decide which of the many different answers here are correct!

The additive inverse of 2/3 is 1/3.
Go on add them up. You should get 1 as the answer
