All planets are tilted to some degree or other, it's a typical action of a gyroscope. Some say it also could have been ice ages concentrating glaciers near the north pole then melting and repeating over millions of years. The moon may have helped as well. But we're not sure.

23.5 degrees but I believe we have and are experiencing a shift aprx of upto a 4 degree shift since 1997 causing glacial and polar ice shifts. this due to the angle of continents verses oceans more heating on continents and less over water thru a new equatorial line has changed our climate !this is only a theory and what does that mean if it were true we must and will adapt , wont we!
First thing of course if this is true we all need to find know so as to have all of us as a race cope with this change!

During the early days of Earth, it spun on its axis perfectly. However, a meteor or asteroid struck the Earth, causing the angle to change.
