yes i think it is make sure that you get exercise and stress could be a reason but i dont think its anything to worry about as long as your having them.

Yeah, I would think it's normal. I had my first period when I was 11 and up until earlier this year when I started taking birth control (I was 18, so I've had my period for 7 years also) it was always irregular, like usually 30 to 40-some days in between. Although as I said, I now take birth control and I pretty much always have it exactly every 28 days.

If you're sexually active, you really ought to be on the pill since you won't have that warning of a missed period if you end up getting pregnant.
My periods were not normal for about 6-7 years, then they went crazy and I went on the pill to regulate.

for some women an irregular period is the norm, mine was for about 14 years, or until I had my kids - ever since, they've been pretty regular.

try asking your gyno about going on the pill it helps regulate your periods and protects you from unwanted pregnancies but they do not protect against std's
