Yes. The words to the Alphabet Song were set to the music of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. To user "yourgporyuorhp" and anyone else Twinkle Twinkle Little star was not written by W.A. Mozart but he did do a theme and variation of it when he was young.

Same reason that "My country 'tis of theee" and "God Save the Queen" have the same tune. It's because the words fit. Funnily enough, when Mozart sat down at his litle toy piano and started plinking away, he wasn't actually giving much thought to the libretto.

because they were both made to a basic 4 beat tune and all have one syalbyl per beat. or someone copied the tune.
