Firstly, it's not all fundamentlists who wear veils.
Secondly, wearing a veil is not just a Muslim religious thing, it's a cultural custom of the Middle East and thus not exclusive to Muslims.
Thirdly, in wearing the veil, Eastern women are attempting to promote chastity and prevent impure thoughts. These are all-important in the Middle East, so I don'think that men over there will find it crucial to see what their 'date' looks like.
Fourthly, these women will usually only remove the veil in front of their family, so I would guess that the men will not be too bothered about their friends thinking they were dating a 'minger'!

They are probably told by their parents or something. That means it is not advisable to be an Islamic fundamentalist. Though Penis Clinton messes around with women despite being an important tool (for fanatic Islamists) in spreading and imposing Islam in the Balkans.

Hey, what a scary thought, imagine awaking in the morning to find a stranger laying next to you in bed, that turns out to be your new wife, with a really bad acne spotted face and having a seriously bad hair day.
Shudder the thought.
No, sorry, but they are welcome to their culture and beliefs, I for one prefer to choose my own ( visible ) partner.

I don't think a strict Muslim is allowed to go on a date as such, he has to have his wife chosen first and then he is not supposed to look at another woman, it is part of their religion
