Before you get mad and rate me a thumbs down again maybe you should learn to properly take care of goldfish and get them out of that tiny death trap. But for cleaning the old pebbles you can rinse them under hot water to remove any loose particles.

I don't care what you rate me, I'm still correct. And I still hope that someone locks you in a closet and tortures you. I can see it now, you trying to claw yourself out and having to live in your own feces and thats just the start of it. Sounds fun doesn't it?

yes first in clean water from your bowl place you fish then remove and keep as much of the good clean water as possible then when all that is done clean the bowl and the gravel pebbles as well as you can using no chemical at all. After that is done to your satisfaction replace everything back into the bowl and remember that you want to use as much of the old water as possible use and dechlourinator to remove any chlourine that will be present from the cleaningreplace your fish you are done.

There is a way to keep your fish pebbles clean without throwing them away. Simply wash then with warm soapy water and rinse them well before putting them back in the bowl.

Clean with what ever you wish as a cleaning agent but the trick is to rinse very, very well . I use a spaghetti draining bowel and hot water . Then clean again before you use them again

They in no way drink sufficient water,so get constipated. additionally, make confident he gets 'spring water'. He desires an alkaline stability.
