on your messenger window, you will see a tab called messenger, its located on top, click on it and go down to yahoo! chat and then on join room.

on your messenger, click on "messenger", then "yahoo chat", then click on "join a room". and choose the room you want to go to.

maybe youll find youve downloaded the uk version , delete it completely and redownload then when it asks which version opt for the usa version this will allow the chat to work
