I have a 3 month old and the father is trying to be in her life he isnt being very succesful I would like to have a song or songs that has meaning to a father from child or even about a child that is about her father. i know this may sound strange but it is really somethign that means alot to me and i want to get him into her life and i think if he hears songs about how special babies are and how much a daddys girl she can be.

Well, you can't go wrong with the Harry Chapin classic, "Cat's in the Cradle." If you haven't heard it, it's all about a guy who never has time for his son, and then one day his son is all grown up and doesn't have any time for his dad. It's sort of a tearjerker, but it's not too sappy, so guys could probably relate well to it.

Um, sorry to burst your bubble but if he doesnt wanna be a part of his daughter's life, a song will not change his mind. He is the only one who can do that, and chances are, he won't.
But, if you THINK a song will work, definitely make him listen to Kenny Chesney's "There Goes My Life."
