I told this co-worker friend that I would get a house with her and then I had to back out because of new bills that just came up and now I have to stay living where I am, because it's a whole lot cheaper, plus my 2 yr. old..I rethought about it all, and I don't want my daughter around her and her 5 different bf's all the time. She is pretty upset with me and we have to work together side by side for the next 4 days..I already told her I was sorry, because she was relly counting on me and then I backed out. How do I or what should I talk to her about now to forget and move on and make it fun again!?!?

well if this person is truly a friend she will understand, a life of a single woman in comparison to a life of a single mom ... you sound like you are a responsible mom not wanting to put your baby into a situation like this. take the time to talk to this friend and if she truly is you too will work things out together

If she can't understand or sympathize with your situation, she is only concerned about herself. So that's leaving you out of a friendship and co-worker relationship due to self centered ways. Ignore the coolness, make the best of your day and carry on knowing that you have to be true to yourself, not her if she can't stand with you and chooses to hold it against you.....

It seems when my friend and I seem to be at odds and she may feel bad she always brings me little stuff that has to do with friendship. Being friends is a great part of my life and it always makes me feel alot better.

try to help her find a new person to get the house with her and personally i wouldn't want my 2 year old daughter around men i really don't know either.
