Someone once told me that people see me different than I see myself, on average, how many more points do other people give you as opposed to yourself.

i see myself as about maybe a 6 but everyone says i am very pretty.......so what i did was to post my picture on hot or not and let the world decide......so now i not only disagree with everyone around me but with the whole world cause they rate me alot higher than i would ever think to rate myself!!!!

It depends on the people. When it comes to my thinking I consider myself a 4 or 5. When it comes to family and friends they say about an 8 or 9. But when it comes to hotornot.com I almost always get a 6, if I'm lucky a 7. People that know you will always say you look good. And you are your own worst critic so every person always views themselves as a lower ranking, unless they have their head stuck up somewhere too far. And when it comes to people that don't know you at all and are just judging from a website, they judge on what they like, not what they think of you. So the number varies a lot from person to person.

I have no idea how many points someone would give me...but I tend to view myself as lower than other people do.

I really couldn't tell you. But I do know that when I think I look the worst is when men start hitting on me. And believe I am a little, wee old or older than most people here.
