We've bought camps here in the US an' were gonna check you an' search you an lock you up in the name of the "War on Terr!" (Remember, givin up liberties to protect Amerrca's freedom.)

I could see Bush trying this.
Ironically, it was the invasion of Afghanistan that got the heroine trade rolling strong again.

Well the Taliban actually did turn over a profit from the opium trade but not since they were handed their azzes by the military.

Technically you couldn't here's why..

It's a military prison so only enemy combatants lawful or in case of Al Queda unlawful could be put there. When arrested for possession most users go to their local jail since it's the local police that caught them. The DEA is a federal organization that goes after suppliers or major dealers and anyone they catch goes to federal prison.

I wouldn't say the War on Terror has caused us to "lose" any liberties. There's been no repeal of any of the bill of rights and the majority of the Patriot Act is just a retooling of laws that have already been in place for decades.

No! How do we know that drug money went straight to terrorist factions? Some maybe, and that's a big maybe! How can it be discerned what did and/or did not? I mean, if I bought a 1/4 ounce of homegrown while on vacation in Jamaica, why should I be imprisoned @ Guantanamo? I wouldn't know and don't believe that money's going to al Qaida...unless they're Rastafarian.

I'd be more willing to answer this asinine question if you learned how to spell properly and cut down on the condescending tone.

And what liberties are we giving up, twit? Don't bother with blabber about the Patriot Act. Diane Feinstein was asked point blank if she ever heard of a single violation of rights due to the Patriot Act and she said she knew of NONE.
