No. Employment is voluntary (although highly desirable), and if the employee disagrees with the uniform policy, he or she can find other employment. The employee is not being deprived of what are normally considered "human rights" by being required to wear a uniform.

You pretty much check your rights at the door when you arrive at work. To think any different is naive. Don't like to follow company policy? Then exercise your right to quit.

Not unless the uniform is an iron maiden. Look, when you go somewhere it's nice to be able to identify employees.

Actually there are benefits like those of school uniforms, like security beneifts, but you have a choice not to be employed there, so I vote no.

you see when you started employment you signed a little piece of paper that says basically you will behave as they wish you too you will do as they wish you too and dress as they wish you too... this paper also tells you your employment is at will and can be terminated at any time by you or your employer... if ya dont like quit, if ya dont like do go in uniform and let em fire ya.. choice is yours

No, you are free to quit, if you don't like the policy. Of course, if they are brown shirts with swastika arm bands, that is a different story.

no not at all as it may be needed for various reasons such as descipline, or to differentiate between employee and guests and even to make every one feel that they are from the same family.
