I know it is hard getting comfortable enough to sleep while you are pregnant. I had the same problem in my pregnency.
What seemed to help me was that I would eat my dinner a little earlier... say around 7:00 PM and then around bedtime which was usually 10:00 PM, I would drink a glass of warm milk, wear something really comfortable, get into bed and try and read something good untill I was ready to fall asleep. Also make sure that the room is not too cold or too hot. Try and put a pillow between ur knees if u sleep on ur side or under ur feet if u sleep on your back.
If nothing works, ask ur doc for something to help u sleep... but I feel it is best if u don't take any unneccessary medications in pregnancy as it might adversly affect the baby.
You can also ask someone to massage your back. My husband used to do that and it was very very relaxing.
Best of Luck.

Try propping yourself up (your ribs as a foundation) onto a huge pillow - the kind you get at a decor store for your living room and sleep on your left side. One hour before bed take 2 acetominophen tabs. Last thing is the ask the LORD for grace... you need it -- - hope you sleep like a baby. I have BAD nights and GOOD nights. It's gonna get more frustrating until that baby comes.

Unfortunately for some women this is a typical side effect of being preg. I couldn't get sleep no matter what I tried. I talked to my Dr. and he finally prescribed me something that woked very well. Good Luck!

Insomnia (sleeplessness) is due to stress, dietary and medical
problems. By making small lifestyle changes like having a fixed
daily routine, relaxing and eating properly, insomnia can be
cured. I found the information at http://tinyurl.com/jfzpz useful
for getting sleep.

I would try lavendar. You can use the Johnson and Johnson baby lotion that is lavendar scented, or go to a store that sells oils. Just make sure that it is a pure oil. You should call your doctor to make sure that this is ok, but I have never seen any negatives from aroma therapy. It's all natural.

Drink a hot cup of tea. Sleepy time by Celestial Seanons. About a half hour or hour before bed so you don't have to get up to pee in the middle of the night.

When I was pregnant, I slept on my side, with a pillow between my legs, one under my stomache, and, sometimes, one against my back as well. Your doctor can give you more ideas.
