Ipod but the batteries do not hold a charge very well. Avoid Sony crap. Sony uses some copyright protection crap that looks out for everyone but the customer and their formats are a pain to overcome to use with ease. The Sony minidisc is a prime example of a great product that is a pain to use.
A GB is a gigabyte which tells you approximately the capacity of the device in bits. One billion bits approximately. 20 GB for example would be 20 billion bits of information. A typical mp3 song that is 4mb or 4 megabytes is four million bits of space. A gigabyte is one thousand meg aproximately so you would be able to put about 250 or so 4 mb songs on a one gigabyte space. Depending on the length or amount of megabytes the song takes up.

I really love my MP3 player. It is called a Creative Zen Nano, and it is great for me because it is really easy to use, is super lightweight, and only cost me 50 bucks!! By the way, don't feel bad about not knowing about 1 GB. It means 1 gigabyte, and it refers to how much memory is in the hard drive of the MP3 player. The more memory it has, the more songs it can hold. Mine is only 512 megabytes (smaller than a gigabyte) so it only holds about 200 songs, but that's just fine for me.

CD gamers i'm not waiting for an ipod or mp3 participant yet... possibly whilst i'm 40 in the event that they don't look to be previous by utilising then (i'm 29). I even have had my digicam for 3 years and there remains probable a collection of stuff i don't know the thank you to do with it yet. Texting, making telephone calls, and taking photographs is surprisingly plenty all i can do with my cellular telephone. i don't opt for to bypass by using all of the worry of downloading songs just to take heed to them every time everywhere without the skipping or scratching.

I have an iPod and I love it. 1 GB mean one gigabyte which is the amount of memory it can hold. The iPod Nanos are good. They have a cute new red one out too.

THIS is the best mp3 player EVER...just trust me...it runs on a triple A battery so you can replace it forever...unlike an Ipod whose battery runs out in a few years (and for the price you'd pay for a new battery u mite as well buy a new Ipod) http://www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/SY_DisplayProductInformation-Start?ProductSKU=NWE105PINK&Dept=audio&CategoryName=audio_mp3players_style_flash

definiitely iPod. You can get a nano which hold about 1000 songs and photos depending on which one you get and big iPods play videos, photos and music and can hold about 10,000 songs.

The best thing about an iPod is everything is compatible with them and they look so cool!
