Take it back to the dry cleaners and tell them they need to buy you a new one because they ruined your old one, and that's how you fix that problem.

That really sucks! I don't know if it's possible to fix the garment at this point. But I hope you didn't have to pay for the dry cleaning bill. They also should reimburse you for whatever you paid for the item in the first place.

It sounds like they should have steamed the item and pressed it instead.
I would take it back to the cleaner and ask them to fix it if they won't, find a better drycleaner.
