take a chance one someone? I am not an ignorant man; I just can't seem to find who I am. I went to college and received an associate’s degree in General Education. I have excelled in every job that I have been in. Most of my jobs have been outside work. I am now looking to do inside work with a some outside work if needed. I am a single father of two. I am not looking for a hand-out, just the opportunity to prove myself.

HaHa! No I am not part of the mob, nor am I affiliated with any type of group or tribe, if you will. Just a hard worker looking for an opportunity to prove myself.

Finding yourself can sometimes be a challenge. I can understand that very well. I truely believe many employers would love to give you that chance. If I were you I would sit down and think of companies you may want to work for. Then go and ask to sit down with the hiring manager. By pass the "application" part. Many companies will talk with you and see where you may fit. If you every want to chat further you can contact me at cutetoes68@yahoo.com (I have exp in hiring etc and could offer more advise).....

Don't give up. Keep trying. One of the history channels had a show about Ulysses S. Grant, who failed at everything, until he became a military commander and won the civil war. Lincoln, Col. Sanders, the list is endless. Success is not in falling donw, but in continuing to get up.
Your most important job right now are your two kids. There is someone who can replace you on every job you do, but one. That is raising your kids. Read positive and encouraging books by authors like Robert Schuller and Joel Osteen. What do you like to do for fun? Look for work that is available in those areas. Expand you vision, you may not see the opportunity in front of you, because you're looking down, rather than forward.

The economy stinks. I was a software engineer for over 19 years. Most computer jobs either went overseas or to immigrants who would work for less. I have two Masters degrees and so far can only find part-time work.
