Anyone seen the preview for that new reality t.v. show The Monastery? I couldn't believe it. They are placing, I believe, three guys in a monastery. I'm not sure about the premise, but I guess the guys are getting and seeking help.... I don't know a lot about monks, but I thought they took a vow of silence? I never in a million years would have expected to see a reality t.v. show in that setting. Lol, uuuumm so tell me, what in the world is next? What area does reality t.v. have left to invade????

I think the five men that go there are all looking for serious help/spiritual guidance that goes above and beyond what they could get by more traditional means.

And it is probably a good situation for the monks because they are so limited in ways to get income, I am sure this is a big help for them to just survive and keep their way of life.

Hopefully it will be interesting and not the pure cheese of most reality tv today.

Not all monks take a vow of silence. That's a voluntary thing. I do agree that this is crazy. I think the only place reality T.V. can go now is to go inside a nunnery.

There is a Reality show is the works that's very graphic. It's something like In the life: Hookers. They're actually going to show the graphic life of hookers & ho's. They're suppose to show everything! Shame!
