My wife and I have differing views on how to construct a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich. So we want to take a survey. When making the sandwhich, after you have put the peanut butter on one of the slices of bread, do you put the jelly on top of the peanut butter or do you put the jelly on the other slice?

Your input will be much appreciated!

Hi sweetheart!
No matter how you make your PB&J I will still love you. But you must ask yourself... Who makes them more, me or you? And when we do have children, they will make their PB&J's with me, b/c we both know that the kitchen is not your fav. place. Or it could just be that they will only like PB sandwiches like me and then we won't have to worry about the whole PB&J issue.
But, I do LOVE you! You make me smile =)

When I used to eat PB & J sandwiches, the jelly went on top of the peanut butter. Now I eat peanut butter and maple syrup sandwiches. Much better!!!!

The other slice of course. Thats just silly to put it on top of the peanut butter then it just gets messy and all mixed in together and you may not have even pb&j bites and who wants that?

My babysitter use to mix it all up in a bowl first and then spread it out ... it was yummy and she would keep it in the fridge so it would get nice and cold ... !

I personally like to spread the Jelly first on one piece then the PB on the other slice ... toasted is the way to go ... as long as the Jelly & PB don't get all mixed together in the jars I'm happy ... !

For a jelly lover, you butter both sides, for me, on top of peanut butter, for my friend one on each side.

Quick, which came first, the chicken or the egg????
