Yes, you have a bad connection somewhere. Are you sure that all this is not draining your new battery? You may have a short in your wiring.

could be a number of reasons short in wiring of light ,but most likely a bad earth connection at battery ,more info would be good
I.E. do lights flicker when engine running ,why was battery changed in the first place . Paul

Check the ground on the battery and if your car has automatic seatbelts check the connections on the floorboard they could cause a flicker if they are corroded

It sounds like you may have a bad connection somewhere. Were the battery cables changed when all of this was done? It sounds like that, or else there is a poor ground. Check out the cables.

Maybe you need to clean your battery terminals?
