First of all, I'm an Independent who has "0" tolerance for racism. I have seen evidence of racism on both sides. Do some African Americans have a "rich white boy" view of republicans? And why do most Jews vote democrat? Why don't more people vote independent?

Because people are misinformed. I used to be strictly about everything democrat because that is what my grandma, and all other "good black people" do so not to mess up the lgacy of JFK, andMLK,Jr. But we, especially , in the inner city are usually force-fed with the ads all over town for the democrat( no matter how Sheisty) and not even talked to the by the republican. So people vote for the name the recognize.
Ivote for the one who is believes in morality issues. God Bless America and whaterver you believe vote. You cannot complain if you do NOTat least try to get the person you want in VOTE FOR PEDRO !!

No, although there are many republicans that are racist there are also many that are not. I do believe that many african american people are liberal because they believe in the voice of the people, the ones with AND without money and under this realm is usually the democrats and thats why they typically vote for them. I personally vote for the best candidate but sometimes (like in the governor race in texas) there is no one I think that will be good for the job in either the repub. or the democrats. Therefore i just vote for Independent. So I guess it all depends on the black person that is voting. Hope it helps

Blacks do not feel they have a voice in American politics. Period.
They see the Democratic party as supporting more blue-collar workers and their rights. Many realize that they have friends who are in economic trouble and have sympathy for those brethren.
I believe both Jewish and African Americans see the Democratic party as more tolerant. Many are concerned with the Religious Right, even though many African Americans are evangelical.
The Democratic Party speaks to those who live in cities, like African Americans and Jewish.

Most Jews vote democrat because most Jews are very smart! Enough Said! And Jesus was a Jew! So if you are Christian you should vote Democrat too!

Actually the whole country is gradually moving to the left.
They know Republicans are gool 'ol boys at heart.
Its not fooling anyone.
Jews vote Democrat because they have too much CLASS to vote for the anti-semites in the GOP.

The Dem and Pub thing is easy to separate. Some people question everything, some people like to follow. Your race has nothing to do with it. Independent is a good stance if you are truly "independent".
