To allow Kate Moss to still get in magazines since every single fight they have just *has* to be published.
To prove that the British Justice system is a shambles. Seriously, that amount of drug offences? He should have been locked up LONG ago.
And to allow the parody wrist bands - Make Doherty History.

in short: to sell tabloids.
I dont really know that much about him because i dont really care for celebrity-centred tabloid crap. half of the bull they come out with is probably made up because - lets face it - looking at these answers there's always a shagwit wanting to read about a bloke screwing up.
It's not like he's the first person to take drugs so i wouldnt say he's particularly 'promoting' immoral behaviour, he's just living his life - as messy and screwed up as it may be. i would however, suggest that the tabloids are promoting his lifestyle. they paint him as some kind of Fallen angel of the music scene - kurt cobain#2.
honestly i think there are better musicians out there but he's not all that bad at writing a nice song. someone above said that sid vicious wants his gig back - but this has been going on forever. look at your cd collection, or even your book collection - do you think half of it would have come about without an illegal drug or two?

He's here to sell newspapers and crappy gossip mags, he's keeping parasites in a job and makes us all feel superior as lets be honest no matter how bad things get, I know for a fact that I wouldnt throw away a golden opportunity like he has to make money being a musician, for that I'm just angry as I have to do my day job still and daydream about getting payed for my music!

The point of Pete doherty sticks into his arm and administers heroin intravenously several times per day. That's really the only point the poor bugger has. I actually pity him, I think he's been fed **** by record managers and journalists and actually believes he's on to something.

Anyone been to see him play live instead of jus reading bout his antics in the paper? No? Thought not. At least get all the facts before slagging someone off. Class performer.

He's the perfect antidote to all the clean cut manifactured pop bands that are being rolled off the production line!! While I'm not a fan of babyshambles i find his behaviour, dangerous childish and refreshing. The spirit of the 70's is still alive in him!

He`s a complete waste of space, ugly, always looks smacked up and what Kate Moss sees in him I don`t know. She`s got a kid to think about and he`s no role model to be a stepdad.
