Yeah, that movie is awesome. Steve Oedekerk (the writer and actor) has been busy writing Evan Almighty (the Sequel to Bruce Almighty) and has focused his writing to more family oriented films like Barnyard and Jimmy Neutron.
There are no plans for a sequel to this movie, even though the end of the movie suggest otherwise. It was just a running gag.
