Do you inspire people or are you aspiring to become a singer.... they are two different things.
If you want to become singer: Take an objective look at your talent. seriously evaluate your ability. If you find you have real talent.... never give up. If you find you lack talent, develope yourself in a field that you are talented in.
Tough advice but i'm here to help.... sugar coated "advice" doesn't help people.

Go to a local recording studio, sing and they will put your recording on tape or cd for you then you can hear yourself and see if you are up to scratch or not,and let family and friends judge too, good luck.

So do I. I am going to try out for American Idol in St. Louis when i turn 16. BTW, i don't live there. It's just a shorter trip. 3 years to practice!!!! :) Wish me luck?! PEACE OUT!!!!

Sing, sing, sing. Call on your area ministers and ask to sing at their churches, or call your mayor's office and volunteer to sing at community events. Advertise in the newspaper for local bands that you are available. Don't be bashful and sing, sing, sing!

Don't join the Singapore Idol. None of them can sing.
