In the evening. Calcium tends to have a calming effect especially if taken with magnesium, and is best taken before bed. If you want that calming effect during the day, for stress, then it's ok to take it whenever.

I've been told that it's best to divide it up over the course of a day. I've also heard that liquid calcium gets into your system better than the Calcium pills. I think the best time is in the morning after your breakfast. I fin that taking any type vitamins on a empty stomach makes me nauseous and besides, it gives you a burst of energy so its good to take it earlier rather than later in the day when things are slowing down.

When you eat. Don't take it with pop as carbonation eats at calcium. Take it with orange juice, cause Vit D helps it absorb better in your body.

i don't think there is a actual time you have to take it, i pass out medications in a nursing home and we often give it with breakfast. i think it's good to take with food.
