I just broke up with my girlfriend (or more accurately she broke up with me) and I'm going to need to get back out there. I'm 31, single, white, grad school educated and pretty well off financially. I'm going to be looking for a girl in NYC that is probably 24-28, very cute and runs with the same type of crowd. I'm a little rough around the edges and don't do a lot by way of primping and although I don't want to go Metro, I know these things matter and I'm willing to play ball. The question - what type of cologne should I buy that will appeal to my target demographic. Ideally, I'd hear from some ladies in this group (maybe even in NYC) and they could weigh in. I don't want to bath in the ****, just smell nice to get their motor running a little if you know what I mean ;)

My favorite cologn for men is Chrome. It smells great. Good Luck to you!! And by the end of the night you will have tonz of girls after you if you wear Chrome. LOL

Try Cool Water, or Ralph Lauren Blue (in a blue bottle so you can't miss it)
Those smell really good. To me anyway.
Or here's a cheaper method but still good scents. Go to wal-mart or wherever and get some TAG body spray, that stuff smells REALLY good, especially the MIDNIGHT scent.

I'm a dude who has had the following colognes purchased for him by various women:
Polo Black (good "clean" scent)
A-Men (smells great, not a "clean" scent like soap more earthy)
Tommy (has a fruitier scent. eh.)
Avoid Axe products. The Axe Effect only works on rabid dogs and cats in heat.

I like Adidas alot, but there is also Candies and well, Black by Ken Cole, thats a mature, confident smell to me.

My absolute favorites are: Jean Paul Gaultier (expensive but SO FREAKING WORTH IT), Adidas, and Candies. I've wanted to jump any boy wearing those scents. Oh man. Good luck!!!
