The alarm clock and anything that sounds like it (like the noise big trucks make when they're backing up). I can't stand that sound.

I hate it when people run their finger nails on a chalk board or the noise of static on the radio or tv.

my son playing with a balloon. Somehow that squeaky noise drives me nuts. Normally balloons mysteriously disappear pretty quickly at my house.

Rubbing your hand across certain material. Squeaky car brakes. Violent rap music. Barking dogs when I am trying to sleep. Our air compressor in the middle of the night when we forgot to turn it off. Belching on purpose. DENTIST DRILL!!!!!

Someone chewing food or gum with their mouth open. It drives me insane, I swear!
That, and hearing the TV or a radio with real loud bass while I'm trying to sleep.

the sound of the ceiling fan in my room at 4 in the morning and its on cuz i cant turn it off and it just "clicks clicks clicks" all through the night until i cant take it anymore and i eventually drag it from the ceiling and throw it out the window :( ahhhh

When my BF does an impression of the guy on Silence of the Lambs.....Precious! It freaks me out, because he sounds just like that goon on there!
